Getting Creative

I was delighted to be able to visit Heather and Chris in Bude last month to see how Heather had settled into her new art studio, a hand made Timeless Spaces Shepherd Hut. Completed earlier in the year, and with a few adjustments to the garden layout and planting, Heather now enjoys stunning sea views and a beautiful array of flora and fauna through carefully placed windows. From the warmth and shelter of her Shepherd Hut, Heather is able to relax and immerse herself in her creativity.

Heather and Chris worked with Jake and the team to ensure that everything was as perfect as possible for Heather’s new studio. They even visited the workshop during the build to check window placement. At Jake’s request, Heather sat on a seat, in what would become the main work area and helped plan the height of both the large double window looking out to sea and the trade mark Timeless Spaces circular window providing the perfect frame for the stunningly landscaped gardens.

The hut is planned out really well with a fold down table at one end which allows Heather’s friend to join her in her creativity.

Heather and Chris really enjoyed the whole process from meeting Jake, to visiting the workshop to having the whole team on site during install. Now well established as a studio, Heather is happy to sit for hours in the warmth, no matter what the season and create beautiful paintings, experimenting with different mediums and enjoying the views.
