Air BnB Shepherd Hut Off To A Great Start
Owners of the idyllic Trebeighan Orchard, Gary and Kim Neeves purchased the Lowen Shepherd Hut early in 2021 and we delivered and installed during our third national lockdown. Complete with double bed, kitchenette, wood burner and bathroom, with a few finishing touches from Kim, they were ready to start letting as soon as the restrictions were lifted.
Set in a picturesque orchard, sprinkled with wild flowers, the Shepherd hut is a quiet haven away from a hectic world and it’s natural beauty fits seamlessly into the beautiful surroundings.
It’s not surprising the new business has got off to such an amazing start, in just four short months making back a third of the cost of the hut, and summer hasn’t even begun yet!
Gary explains how they have built the business in such a short time, making the effort to add personal touches to everyone’s stay, including a bottle of their own home made apple juice and a home baked treat laid out ready for their guests arrival. They’ve even been known to light the fire in preparation for late arrivals on cold evenings.

We’ve had lovely comments from many of our guests, mostly from London, who have been impressed by the quality of the hut itself, having stayed in a few they really appreciated the hand made finish and degree of detail. Plus the insulation which keeps the hut nice and warm, or cool, whatever the weather outside!”
